Year 6

The Year 6 team is made up of Miss Hollows, Miss Kirtley and Miss Linley, with in class support from Miss Smith. This half term we have an exciting and busy time planned for our pupils.
In History we are learning about Social Reform. In Geography we are learning about North East and North West England and in Science we are learning about plant structures and processes.

We will be continuing to develop our learning in Music, Drama & P.E., as well as building on our Maths and English knowledge. We have our next open morning on Friday 20th January 2017, and we would love to see you there so you can join in with your child’s learning and speak to us about how your child is doing.

Please remember PE kits on Thursday.
Homework goes out on Friday and is to be returned the following Tuesday.

As part of science we did an experiment looking at what can make a penny change colour. We tried different solutions and found out it was vinegar!
